Marking of glass
The marking of each auto window glass contains the following information:
- Producer’s brand name;
- A mark of official compliance with the terms of the rules Nr.R43ЕЭКООН or Nr.92/22/CEE of the Member countries of the European Community.
Apart from that, marks of compliance with other international standards, the data of the production of the window glass or other information may appear.

Types of the window glasses:
I – extra durable windshield
II – regular multiple layer windshield
III – multiple layer windshield that underwent special treatment
IV – plastic glass
V – other (not windshields) glasses with the limpidity factor of less than 70%
V-VI – double glass with the limpidity factor of less than 70%<
Index absence – the glasses that are not windshields and have limpidity factor of less than 70%
